If the forecasted gale 1 warning on Friday morning holds true it could certainly be a big task for some of the participants of Silverrudder Challenge.
Therefore the Race Comitee and BådNyt have decided to offer an alternative course in the sheltered waters south of Funen called Øhavet – The Archipelago. This alternative course „The Voyage“ will be started later on Friday the 18th or on Saturday the 19th in the morning.
It is important to notice the „The Voyage“ is optional. It will be open for participants from all seven starts. And it insures you that if you come to Svendborg you will get the opportunity to go sailing safely.
Silverrudder Challenge will start as scheduled on Friday morning with the first start at 8 am.
